UNIZIK Business School, Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka. He is also the Coordinator, of Public Private Partnership of the University.
He worked briefly at Anambra State Ministry of Works before settling in at Nnamdi Azikiwe University, UNIZIK, Awka where he grew in all the ladders. He has served severally as the HOD, Accounting, the Dean of Management Sciences, the Senate of the University and he had served as a member of the University’s Governing Council.
Prof. Emma I. Okoye is a member of over 36 Professional Associations and Institutes and a fellow of about 15 other professional Associations and Institutes. He has many professional certifications both in Nigeria and outside Nigeria.
Prof. Emma I. Okoye is in the leadership and member, as an external examiner, in over 36 Nigerian Universities and various tertiary institutions. He has served on the editorial boards of many internationally acclaimed tertiary journals and magazines.
Prof. Emma I. Okoye has supervised about one thousand students both at undergraduate levels and graduate levels with about 80 of those at Ph.D. levels. He has been invited and duly participated in the assessments of many senior lecturers, readers, and professors in many Universities in Nigeria.

Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) Consultants Cum Micro- Finance Technical Service Provider 2009-2013. (This involves the training of Microfinance Bank Directors, Management team, and Auditors for effective service delivery and preparation for CIBN professional examinations)
Consultant on Manpower Development for Anaocha L.G.A, Anambra State. (This involved training treasurers, Auditors, Cashiers, Management Team, and Councilors on financial memoranda and general local government administration)
Training of Local Government Treasurers and other top officials over the years.
Training of State and Local Government Auditors for both academic and professional proficiency over the years.
Lead Trainer on Auditing/Investigations, Forensic Audit and Litigation Support, and Public-Sector Accounting, both at undergraduate, postgraduate (M.Sc. and Ph.D.), and professional Examinations levels for over twenty years.
